The British Government has just taken another step in their constant endeavour to turn the UK into a Police State. As of today, EVERY E mail and Internet phone call (Skype, IM etc) that is sent or received in the UK will be kept by the hosting ISP for 12 months. Allegedly this is another step in "protecting" British citizens in the ceaseless war against terror.
The recipe for cherry cake that I sent to my Mum earlier today will now be liable for a deep forensic investigation to see if I am really passing on subversive messages. Fun living in the 21st Century isn't it?
